Susi Urioste

M.A., CF-SLP

Susi Urioste, M.A., CF-SLP, earned her master’s degree in speech language pathology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has years of professional experience working with diverse populations in a variety of educational and therapeutic settings and has a passion for empowering others to reach their full potential. Susi is a bilingual therapist who provides services in both English and Spanish, and she is Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) certified. Through her professional practice, Susi strives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

While in graduate school, and through previous volunteer and work positions, Susi gained experience working with individuals of all ages, including those with autism, Down syndrome, articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, fluency disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, dyslexia, learning/developmental disabilities, cognitive-linguistic disorders, voice disorders, and those who use AAC (augmentative and alternative communication). She has also spent time volunteering in South America, providing speech-language services and academic support to youth in Bolivia and Ecuador. 

During her free time, Susi loves to go to the mountains to hike, backpack, and rock climb.  While in the city, she can often be found running, doing yoga or cooking delicious vegetarian meals at home.
