Susan Doherty

M.A., CF-SLP

Susan Doherty, M.A., CF-SLP, earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She also holds a master’s degree in school counseling and has spent years working in educational and therapeutic settings, gaining a variety of experiences with diverse populations.

Throughout her professional experience and while in graduate school, Susan worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including those with articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, dyslexia, learning/developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), cognitive disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, Down Syndrome, and individuals who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Susan is Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) certified and provides treatment to pediatric and adult patients with motor speech and neurological conditions.

Susan provides a holistic approach to therapy, utilizing both her counseling and speech therapy background to promote communicative success for clients. In her spare time, she enjoys snowboarding, running, hiking, camping, and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix, Lucky.
