Atha Zimmermann, MS CCC-SLP, earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Arizona. Atha recently moved from working as a school-based speech therapist to working with families in early intervention and private practice. She has experience working with a variety of ages and disabilities, including receptive and expressive language delays, cognitive disorders, learning disabilities, speech sound & phonological disorders, autism, Down syndrome, and others. Atha enjoys working with families to come up with child-centered, engaging activities that they can incorporate at home.
In her free time, Atha likes to quilt, hike, and snowboard (poorly). She and her husband have two dogs that enjoy eating shoes and making occasional guest appearances during telehealth sessions.
