Max Shafer earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree at West Virginia University. He relocated from New Jersey to Colorado in June of 2017 and has been working in early intervention with Grays Peak Therapy. In the last year, Max has gained experience working with children diagnosed with global language delays, autism, childhood apraxia of speech, feeding difficulties and articulation disorders. Working with kids has always been something Max has enjoyed, seeking every opportunity to help families that have a child with a speech or language delay. In his free time, Max enjoys exploring the beautiful state of Colorado through hiking and snowboarding. He enjoys attending concerts and watching a good movie or TV show with his cat, Blue.
