Katelyn Zarem, MS, CCC-SLP joined the Grays Peak Therapy Team in July 2018. She graduated with her bachelor’s and master’s in speech-language pathology from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Katelyn is bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoys working with both English and Spanish speaking individuals and their families.
She is Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) certified and provides treatment to both children and adults with motor speech and cognitive impairments. Throughout her graduate school career, Katelyn had the opportunity to work with individuals with developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), fluency disorders, Down’s syndrome, dysphagia (swallowing disorder) and acquired cognitive communication deficits from stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and dementia.
Katelyn has a variety of interests, but she is most passionate about helping teens and adults navigate transitional periods in their lives (transitioning from school to independent living, work, or community involvement). Katelyn is currently working in the Denver area providing treatment in English/Spanish for children birth-3 years old, LSVT, and cognitive communication therapy for teens and adults.
